Pretilachlor 50% EC is a selective preemergent to early post emergent broad spectrum herbicide with excellent action against annual grasses, sedges and broad leave weeds. It is absorbed primarily by the germinating shoots, and secondarily by the roots, with trans-location throughout the plant. It is used in transplanted rice within 3 days of transplanting.
