Pyriproxifen 10% EC is a systemic growth regulator that suppresses embryogenesis and inhibits metamorphosis and reproduction of insects. It is used for control of sucking pest on cotton and chillies. It prevents larvae from developing into adulthood and thus rendering them to unable to reproduce.
